Before you start, get your furniture ready. Use a stiff brush toget rid of any dirt. Firstly give the tin a good stir, do a testpatch to make sure your going to be happy with the result beforeapplying overall. Generously coat the restorer onto the furnitureand then scrub it in with a stiff bristle brush.
Leave it to work for 15 minutes, don’t let it dry out, as itwon’t work properly, if it does, you’ll need to put anothercoat on. You’ll then need to give it another scrub.
Finally, give it a really good hose down, you should be able to getthe job done with one coat. However, very grey wood may need doingagain. If you get any restorer on yourself, wash it off with warm, soapy water. To keep your furniture looking its best, leave it todry for a day or two. Then protect it with one of our stains oroils.
When cleaning up make sure to scrape as much restorer off yourtools as you can. Then wash them out in warm, soapy water. Don’tpour any left over restorer down the drain or into watercourses.Your local authority may have special ways to get rid of unusedproducts.
